In the immediate post-war period, a woman decided in a completely innovative way to become an entrepreneur. She established her headquarters in Borgo San Lorenzo, a small town in the Mugello countryside, providing work and hope to many women. Thus was born Borgo Cashmere, which has always specialized in high-quality knitwear, which draws from its origins the excellence that has distinguished it up to now: artisanal workmanship, use of ancient machinery combined with new technologies and research. Now as in 1949 Borgo Cashmere wants to be a bridge that brings together the beauty of Tuscan tradition with the future of fashion.
